Process

OTCVerify strives to provide insights and gain public and investor trust in a company. Our main goal is to verify a company’s existence and legitimacy. Since they differ for each one, our reports are generated on a case-by-case basis. We provide a full spectrum of information, as provided by the company, without bias or a slanted perspective.

To begin the process, a company seeking OTCVerification should contact OTCVerify by filling out the simple contact form, which can be found in the Contact section of this website.

A member of the OTCVerify team will then get in touch with the company to get the process started. Once basic information about the company is obtained and guidelines about the visit are established, a physical meeting and inspection of the company’s premises and operations by an OTCVerify representative will be arranged.

It should normally take just one day for the OTCVerifier to review the company. During that time, the member will fill out a detailed evaluation form, take pictures and acquire as much information about the company as possible to prove its credibility.

Once the review has been completed, we’ll provide a report outlining all of the reasons why the company has been OTCVerified. This report will also be posted on the OTCVerify website, and a PowerPoint presentation can be put on the company’s website to further prove its legitimacy to potential investors. The presentation will include all of the information from the evaluation and report that confirms that OTCVerify has visited the company and seen its business operations.

The on-site visit will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Visual inspection of all physical facilities, including plants, offices, warehouses and distribution facilities
  • Observation of and interviews with staff members
  • Meetings with senior executives
  • Off-site visits to local stores where the company’s product is being marketed, if applicable
  • Meetings with personnel regarding marketing and promotion programs
  • All of the above being supported by photographs, copies of business licenses, financial information, marketing materials, travel documents and any other useful material evidence that can be obtained to substantiate the company’s operations

The company evaluation summary and report produced by OTC Verify upon completion of the on-site visit will then be packaged with copies of the above-mentioned documentation. The report will consist of, but not be limited to, the verifier’s observations and comments on the following:

  • The company’s principals, addresses, products, etc.
  • A business plan and proof of revenues
  • Description of facilities, staff, products, ongoing business, customer base, etc.
  • Executive summaries
  • Descriptions of marketing and promotion programs
  • General subjective observations from the visit
